Q&A

At PPC, we press your sentimental blooms using a traditional flower press. Once we receive the flowers in our studio, we deconstruct them and put them in the flower press. We then press them for 6-8 weeks. Once dried, we meticulously reconstruct each flower. We then provide a mock up design for your approval. Once approved, we glue, seal, and frame your PPC piece.

To reserve your date, please visit the “book” page on our website. You may reach out as soon as the day before your event if our books are not closed for the season.
-
There are several convenient ways to deliver your blooms to us. You can drop them off at our studio, arrange for a pickup at an additional cost, or ship them directly to us.
-
Please follow these instructions to ensure that your blooms arrive to PPC in the best possible condition to be pressed! Ship our your bouquet no later than 1-2 days after your event to ensure the best result while pressing. If the flowers are shipped out later, it will increase the chances of wilting and browning, which will affect the end result of the frame. Ship using a priority overnight service to ensure that the flowers will arrive at our studio the following day.
Materials

Instructions
Cover the bottom of the box using some of your packing peanuts/paper.
Freshly cut the stems of the bouquet.
Soak the paper towel and wrap it around the flower stems. Make sure it’s also wrapped around the bottom of the stems and that the paper towel doesn’t touch the petals.
Take the plastic bag and put the wrapped stems inside.
Seal it tightly with the rubber band to maintain moisture.
Put the bouquet in the box standing up and gently surround the sides and top with the rest of the packing materials. Make sure that you do not pack the box too tight to avoid bruising.

We do not use color correction or chemicals in our preservation process. As a result, your flowers will gradually fade or change over time. We encourage our clients to embrace these natural changes, as they mirror the flowers' true lifespan and beautifully reflect life’s changing milestones. If you would prefer a color-corrected piece, we’re happy to recommend another flower preservation artist to help bring your vision to life!
